Celeste

This self-portrait by the artist is exemplary of the Latin American woman: delicate and at the same time powerful. Women are the heart of the family, the cohesion of the home. Many women have remained silent in a context of violence, not only within the family circle, but also in the professional and social spheres. Celeste is surrounded by cacti with sharp thorns; on one of them her name is written with the hashtag symbol "CELESTE". For Celeste stands for all those of us who can raise our voices today and, in solidarity, support other women and promote respect, community, and safety for future generations.
